Italgen, the green energy company of the Italmobiliare Group, and Raselli Franco S.p.A., a company of the Errepi Group and a leader in high-end jewelry prototyping and production, have signed a ten-year agreement for the supply of electricity from 100% renewable sources.

The signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) provides for the supply of over 1.3 GWh/year of renewable energy from a 100% made-in-Italy supply chain, supporting the decarbonization of Raselli’s production process and of the luxury supply chain to which it belongs. All the energy supplied by Italgen under the agreement is certified by a Guarantee of Origin, an electronic certification system managed by the Gestore dei Servizi Energetici, which assures the buyer that the amount of energy purchased is 100% renewable and has been effectively produced by the supplier and sold exclusively to them.

The PPA with Raselli is much more than a simple contract; it is a partnership between excellent SMEs that enables the energy transition of a key sector of Made in Italy — that of goldsmith production in the historic Valenza district,” emphasizes Luca Musicco, CEO and General Manager of Italgen. “This agreement, which brings to nearly 40 the number of industrial clients with whom Italgen has signed renewable energy supply contracts, will allow us to best leverage our new greenfield photovoltaic projects, which by the end of 2025 will increase our installed production capacity to over 100 MW compared to the current 87 MW.
