The network of outpatient centers reaches the milestone of 40 facilities across Piedmont, Liguria, and Sardinia

CDS–Casa della Salute announces the opening of a new medical center in Cagliari, the Group’s second facility on the island. Fully renovated, the building spans three floors for a total of approximately 1,000 square meters and includes 7 consulting rooms for specialist visits, 1 ultrasound room, a large dental area with 3 dental units, and a fully equipped diagnostic imaging area. In line with CDS standards, the outpatient clinic will offer high-quality services, local physicians, modern and welcoming environments, state-of-the-art equipment, and agreements with major health funds.  

CDS is a partner of top-level sports and, starting this season, will also support Cagliari Calcio as Official Training Partner, providing all healthcare services to its registered athletes.  

Sardinia represents a strategic market and a major challenge for CDS: “The opening in Cagliari, following that in Sassari, confirms CDS’s commitment in Sardinia and carries even greater significance as the 40th facility in our network,” says CDS CEO Marco Fertonani. “The experience in Sassari has given us very positive feedback and a truly warm welcome. As in that area, we are arriving in Cagliari with the aim of becoming an established partner of the public healthcare system — working in synergy and support, never in overlap. Our role is to handle low- and medium-complexity services, offering care with private-sector waiting times and prices comparable to those of the public sector.”
