SIDI and Caffè Borbone took part in L’Eroica
SIDI and Caffè Borbone at the world’s most famous vintage cycling event
More than 8,000 enthusiasts gathered in Gaiole in Chianti to take part in the 28th edition of L’Eroica, a unique event that brings back the cycling of bygone days — the kind that celebrated the beauty of fatigue and the thrill of challenge — transforming it into a universal language of passion. There were many women participants, over 1,110, and a strong international presence, with cyclists from 51 countries making up 40% of all attendees, proving once again that a love of sport knows no borders. Among the event’s key participants this year were Caffè Borbone and SIDI.
Caffè Borbone offered riders a much-appreciated coffee break and welcomed Davide Cassani at its stand — one of the most recognizable figures in Italian cycling, Giro and Tour commentator, and former head coach of the Italian national cycling team.
SIDI took part with a dedicated space showcasing the new SS26 collection and an exhibition that traces over sixty years of excellence in cycling. The brand also presented Polvere, the new gravel shoe developed in collaboration with L’Eroica. Polvere joins Tenacia, the first shoe specifically designed and produced by a company for L’Eroica, launched during the previous edition of the event.
