The annual general meeting of the Scrigno company, part of the Clessidra Capital Partners 3 fund managed by Clessidra Sgr, approved the 2018 consolidated financial statements, with revenue of 71.5 million euro and Ebitda steady at around 20%.

“2018 closed with very positive results for the Group,” said CEO Maddalena Marchesini. “This was driven by high flexibility and the thirty years of experience that have made Scrigno the acknowledged leader in the production and marketing of counter-frames for sliding doors and windows. Our success was not just in Italy but also abroad, where we strengthened our direct operations in Europe and moved to strategic new markets in the USA, Canada, the Middle East and the Far East.”

On the domestic market, compared with 2017 the company boosted revenue on counter-frames for sliding doors and windows by 2.4% and on armored doors by more than 10%, through its Piacenza-based subsidiary Master.

“Excellent results were also achieved on international markets,” said a company media statement. “International sales account for 50% of Group turnover, with Spain and the Czech Republic reporting double-digit growth.” Looking forward, “performance in the early months of 2019 was extremely positive, in line with the growth plan for the current year.”
