Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella has opened its first directly operated store in China, located within Plaza 66, one of Shanghai's leading luxury retail destinations. The interiors draw inspiration from the architectural language of Florence, combining walnut furnishings with visible grain, Carrara and Verde Alpi marble surfaces finished in matte, and deep green velvet drapery at the entrance to the fragrance area.

Dark walnut clads the walls, framing the entire space, with the wood grain running the full height of the panels. The furnishings are designed with rigorous proportions and meticulous attention to detail, while display niches are integrated directly into the wall structure.

Every detail reinterprets, through a contemporary language, the atmosphere of the historic shop on Via della Scala in Florence, where the original centuries-old furnishings are still used on a daily basis today.
